ALCE is a worldwide supplier to global energy distribution companies and switchgear manufacturers with solutions for measurement and insulation devices. ALCE has been designing and manufacturing measurement transformers, insulators and epoxy parts for more than 50 years. We are looking for a "Production Engineer" with the following qualifications for our “Medium Voltage and Ring Core Transformer Plant” located in Pendik-Kurtköy. QUALIFICATIONS BS Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience in a production company that manufactures on order basis. At least 3 years of experience in production management, white and blue-collar personnel management and working in shifts. Experience in “Medium Voltage and Ring Core Transformers” is an asset. Knowledge about quality systems, cost and efficiency. Coordination and analytical thinking skills, attention to detail. Suitable for teamwork, able to keep up with the intense work tempo, open to innovations and development. Strong communication skills and human relations. Advanced level of written and spoken English. Effectively using MS Office programs. Knowledge of SAP is preferred. No military service obligation for male candidates. Living or able to live on the Asian side of Istanbul or Gebze / Darıca / Çayırova regions. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Being responsible for production processes. Ensuring that production processes are carried out timely and effectively in accordance with the production plans and programs, quality standards and procedures, and that cost targets are met. Creating production plans and coordinating the relevant process by keeping in close communication with the Quality and Planning teams. Providing timely material and raw material flow to production by working in coordination with Procurement and Warehouse teams. Preparing production process reports and presenting them to the Head of Production. Ensuring the continuity of existing instructions and processes and making suggestions to improve them in accordance with Management Systems (Quality, Environment and OHS) standards. Ensuring the documentation of new processes. Conducting process safety studies. Following the wastage and error rates of the products, carrying out activities to prevent their recurrence. Presenting suggestions, opinions and project ideas to the management about increasing product quality and efficiency of production lines and participating in project studies.
