QUALIFICATIONS BS / MS Degree in Engineering. At least 15 years of experience in production planning activities in manufacturing sector. At least 3 years of it must be in a managerial role. Advanced level of written and spoken English. Experience in using ERP systems, preferably SAP. Effectively using MS Office programs. Having the ability of teamwork and cooperation. Strong communication skills and human relations. Having an investigative personality, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Able to take responsibility and initiative. No military service obligation for male candidates. Living or able to live on the Asian side of Istanbul or Gebze - Çayırova - Darıca region. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for timely and accurate preparation, execution and communication of production plans. Developing and implementing a strategy to ensure the planning function is operating in line with the objectives of the business. In charge of leading and managing the production planning team. Maintaining close communication with Sales, Production and Procurement departments. Meeting at regular intervals with related departments and reviewing the problems in the planning program. Responsibilities of the department include: Making material planning based on production planning, creating orders if necessary and transferring the determined material needs to the Procurement Department via the ERP system. Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring inventory optimization to achieve operational and financial targets. Optimization of lead times. Pre-determining under-capacity utilization and overtime requirements and producing the necessary solutions for optimum benefit. Minimizing production delays and resolving production problems. Preparing daily / weekly / monthly production plans, machine selection, work routes, workforce usage and daily work orders based on the production plan. Making and reporting performance/efficiency analysis regarding production. Organizing production processes and plans to reduce the use of resources, time and labor.
