Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, and vendor management or related roles
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in MS Office and SAPMM at a professional level
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
Ability to work flexible hours
Patient, positive, resilient and solution-focused
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong time and project management skills
Fluent in Turkish and English
Requirements:
Oversee and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and contract management
Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods, machinery (equipment), and services
Select the optimum supplier and offer, according to technical evaluations, price, quality, and logistics
Negotiate terms, and establish relationships to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, pricing, and supplier performance and make recommendations for strategic sourcing decisions
Monitor and manage supplier performance, address any issues, and foster continuous improvement to enhance the procurement process
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Assume responsibility in the standardization of materials, equipment, etc., and contracts by category
Take part in the implementation of vendor categorization, supplier management, and in material classification
Take responsibility for reporting and budget tracking
