Main Responsibilities:
Development of Credit Risk Policies: Formulates and updates the organization's risk policies. These policies define credit assessment processes, risk acceptance criteria, risk classifications, and credit limits.
Management of Credit Assessment Processes: Oversees credit processes, such as reviewing loan applications, generating credit assessment reports, and determining credit limits for customers. Ensures that customer data is accurate and up-to-date.
Risk Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes risks within the credit portfolio and prepare reports. These reports help identify potential risks in the credit portfolio and provide information to the management team.
Determining Credit Risk Management Strategies: Develops strategies and measures to reduce or manage credit risk. These strategies encompass areas like identifying risky loans, implementing risk mitigation measures, and monitoring customer collections.
Internal Controls and Compliance: Implements internal controls to ensure the effective operation of credit risk management processes. Monitors compliance with existing legal regulations and compliance requirements.
Management Reports and Presentations: Regularly presents risk reports and presentations to senior executives. These reports cover credit risk performance, risk factors, and developments.
Required Experiences & Qualifications:
University degree from reputable universities.
Minimum 8 years of proven experience in customer credit risk management, preferably within the EPS or chemicals manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of credit risk evaluation processes, risk management systems, financial evaluations, and risk mitigation policies.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software. SAP knowledge is a must.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
